Industrial Hygiene Project Manager
Location(s): Littleton, CO or Loveland, CO
Landmark Environmental, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Hygiene (IH) Project Manager (PM). This position is critical in accomplishing our goal of growing our business while maintaining the highest quality and exceptional reputation. In support of this goal, the Project IH will report directly to the President of the company or, in some cases, will be delegated to report to other Principals when working on certain projects.
The IH PM will track to a Senior PM position. The IH PM will work with our Management Team and the President to perform tactical/technical aspects of our work to develop our relationships with our customers and mentor junior staff members.
The specific roles include rapid new business capture, flawless project execution, quality assurance improvement, staff supervision, and mentoring junior staff towards clearly established goals. The candidate must have strong communication skills and be a “team player” who develops and maintains long-term business relationships with clients and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Professional technical tasks include project management or project management support, property inspections, health and safety management, industrial hygiene assessments, and cost-estimating. Work will include building inspections for the presence of asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, and biological hazards, and PCBs. The IH PM will be knowledgeable and capable of health and safety oversight and general project management on varied and large-scale site characterization and hazard remediation projects. Project work will include the removal of asbestos and asbestos in soils, lead, underground storage tanks (USTs), and spill response actions. Oversight roles will include waste profiling and management, environmental air and soil sampling, quality assurance inspections, and regulatory compliance management.

Assignments will be of varying complexity under varying levels of direction and supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision, and will embody safe work practices for company and client personnel.

Collection of, or will direct staff to collect, site characterization or final clearance air samples and communicate the “why, what, and how” to junior staff.

Leadership of onsite contract management, management of scoping/quantification efforts, hazmat cost/quantification verifications, or assignment of these duties to staff. Responsible for in-field QC and sharing this data with Principals or the President.

Proactive coordination of schedules for inspections with site operators or Contractor Supervisor(s) and reporting status to Principals.

Developing and organizing in-field project designs and daily/final report data.

Participation in onsite meetings with clients and other team members, building trust through credibility.

Takes the initiative and conducts client-specific sales activities, and exhibits a competitive spirit.

Collaborates with other Principals and the President to develop opportunities with specific new and existing customers, resulting in expeditious attainment of established goals.

Expands brand recognition by growing existing customers and developing new contacts. Identifies where focused participation in local industry organizations creates significant ROI within a defined period.

Leads or supports proposal development.

Reviews contract documents and presents solutions to resolve significant issues to Company President for feedback. Resolves minor issues independently.

Ensures 100% on-time delivery of high-quality proposal documents and RFP responses.
Salary Range/Benefits:
The IH PM position has an annual salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 based upon education, experience, related field experience, and current certifications. Benefits include paid federal holidays, floating holidays, vacation accruals that increase with tenure, sick leave, qualified 401(k) with a 4% employer match, Health Insurance (HMO) coverage with 80% premium employer co-pay, and fees for professional licensure.
