Project Industrial Hygienist

Location(s): Littleton, CO and Loveland, CO or Laramie, WY

 

Landmark Environmental is seeking a Project Industrial Hygienist (IH). The position will include a clear and personalized professional development program, and the selected candidate will be expected to add immediate value to the business. This position is critical in accomplishing our goal of growing our business while maintaining the highest quality, low employee turnover, and our exceptional reputation. In support of this goal, the Project IH will perform projects and assignments for Senior Management as delegated by the President. The Project IH will work with our Management Team and with the President to perform tactical/technical aspects of our work and develop our relationships with our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diversified professional technical tasks include project management support, property inspections, health and safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental assessments. Work will include team participant or team lead contributions to projects associated with asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, and biological hazards, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The Project IH will be knowledgeable and capable of health and safety program implementation and technical task management on varied and large-scale site characterization and hazard remediation projects. Project work will include the removal of asbestos and asbestos in soils, lead, underground storage tanks (USTs), and environmental investigations. Oversight roles will include waste profiling and management, environmental air and soil sampling, quality assurance inspections, and regulatory compliance management support.

  • Assignments will be of varying complexity under varying levels of direction and supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision.

  • The Project IH will promote safe work practices and implement company and client safety policies for the work.

  • Proactive coordination of schedules for inspections with site operators or Contractor Supervisor(s) and reporting of status to Senior Management.

  • Developing and organizing in-field project designs and daily/final report data.

  • Participation in key meetings w/ clients and other team members.

Salary Range/Benefits:

The Project IH position has an annual salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 based upon education, experience, related field experience, and current certifications. Benefits include paid federal holidays, floating holidays, vacation accruals that increase with tenure, sick leave, qualified 401(k) with a 4% employer match, Health Insurance (HMO) coverage with 80% premium employer co-pay, and fees for professional licensure.
